The Bachelorette’s Emily Maynard is married! She had a beautiful surprise wedding! If you are anything like me you have a healthy skepticism for ABC’s hit show…….But you also tune in every Monday to keep up with the juicy drama. Most of these shows end with an engagement, quickly followed by a breakup. But a lot of the contestants become stars after the show in one way or another and we always want to see them happy. Emily Maynard was a star on this show and it ended in what she thought was love, but soon after she called off the engagement. Normally any news on these tv show made stars, would be less than life changing for us all but I have kept Emily close to the top of my star stalking list because she has always had impeccable style. She has her own fashion line and her clothes and jewelry are amazing! So I can’t help but be excited to hear the news that she got married recently and I just couldn’t wait to see what her style brought to her wedding day!
From her non-traditional ring to her beautiful light pink wedding dress, all the way to her surprise wedding (which is all the rage right now) she did not disappoint! I always loved Emily’s style when she was on the show, but her wedding was nothing short of spectacular! See below a picture of the new little family, and a few more from their wedding day! I love that Emily’s daughter Ricki was her Maid of Honor!

First off, I can’t not spend a second obsessing over her non-traditional stackable engagement rings! You can mix so many of your favorite styles and cuts of diamonds with this style! Emily’s has a touch of color with a few sapphires! This is an up and coming trend, and I can’t wait to see what comes of this style next!
Emily looked like a true princess in strapless light pink tulle Modern Trousseau ball gown, it was a look fit for a fairy princess except she put a fun twist on it! She is a country girl at heart and accessorized her girly look with a pair of her favorite cowboy boots! Love this!

More and more brides are catching on to the new surprise wedding trend! Emily invited her guest to be apart of their “engagement party!” When their somewhere around 200 guests arrived they were surprised to see they were there to attend Emily and Tyler’s wedding! I love this, what a fun and exciting way to throw all wedding traditions out the window!
So what goes with a princess pink ball gown, with rustic cowboy boots, and a surprise wedding? Well none other than a princess pink 4 tier wedding cake!

Sparkly gold and pink colors with cowboy boots, a country music band and a barn venue! does it get anymore amazing than that? Congrats Emily, Tyler and Ricki and thank you for the rustic chic inspiration!
