Beach Weddings – Pure Bliss in a Dreamy Setting

If you are a sea lover, don’t just settle for a sea-themed wedding. Hit the beach together with your guests and celebrate your big day!

What can be more romantic than a wedding on the sea shore? This is the best setting ever for your nuptials if you adore the sound of waves, feeling the warm sand under your feet and breathing in the freedom and immensity of such a dreamy setting.

If you (and your chosen one) are two free spirits, a beach wedding will be a dream come true for you. The atmosphere will be relaxed, allowing you and your guests to be pretty laid-back throughout the day. You should choose a delicate and fluid slip dress or an exotic island sheath gown that gives you freedom of movement. Match the dress with embellished flip-flops or go barefoot to perfectly complement the sandy location.

Don’t forget about your guests if you choose to have your ceremony under the blazing sun. They will highly appreciate sun lotion, fans or parasols, but also a refreshing and colorful cocktail with a tropical touch. However, since you have the chance of a breathtaking scenery, I think you should start not long before the sunset. By the time you say your vows under the flower chuppah, the orange dawn will add a dramatic touch to the emotional moment. No decoration can beat that!

It would be nice if your wedding decorations  also mirrored the setting, so  choose anything with a marine vibe, from seashells and nautical stripes, to coral and exotic flowers (you can’t go wrong with orchids). When the sun sets, you and your spouse can set romantic sky lanterns (your guests will want to do it as well, so be prepared) , and you can also light up a romantic bonfire,  creating the cosiest atmosphere ever.

My only suggestion is to go for a non-public beach, or choose a resort or  rental house that will give you the intimacy you need on your big day. Have a whimsical wedding, darlings!
