Ladies, the most exciting time of year has come and gone…Bridal Fashion Week! If you have been following all the bridal trends that are popping up online – you know exactly why. Each year during Bridal Fashion Week all the top designers debut their 2015 spring wedding dress collection. This week we saw glimpses of the most gorgeous fashion yet. The designers have out done themselves. Tulle, beading, and illusion everything are running rampant in New York City. Although we have yet to see the full lines appear on designer’s websites, we have been in Instagram heaven from all lucky attendees. (Yes, we are green with envy!)
Designers who have blown our minds include Zuhair Murad, Hailey Paige, Isabelle Armstrong, Jenny Packham, Sareh Nouri, Monique Lhuillier, and Inbal Dror….and many, many others.
From what we have seen so far the trends that are guaranteed to make you second guess your wedding gown are still the glamour of 1920’s, so if you are planning a Gatsby affair in a gorgeous mansion or a Downton Abbey-esqe event, you are still right on trend. Tulle skirts are still creating ethereal, romantic visions of brides. Versions of tulle are moving from full straight skirts to gorgeous fluffy layers, full of movement and romance. And we can’t forget about lace. The lace this year has been full of dimension and sparkle. For brides craving something different than a strapless gown – this is your year. From skinny straps flowing into a deep v to illusion sleeves dripping in crystals, you will have a hard time deciding which way to go. Silhouettes look to be remaining in classic in ball gowns, a-lines, and trumpets. The vintage pieces are less constricting and fall straight to the ground without overly romantic frills. Pops of pink and purple were seen on the runway again this year, making our hearts flutter with happiness.
