Every girl deserves to feel like a princess on her wedding day and what is more fairytale than a pink color scheme?
In theory a pink color scheme can seem girly and overdone but when planned right it can be whimsical and romantic. This La Jolla wedding photographed by Lane Dittoe is the perfect example of a pretty in pink wedding. Notice how the color scheme was balanced by incorporating neutral shades of white and gray everywhere from the bride’s dress to the tables.
The bride wore a pale silver wedding sash accented with crystals, while the bridesmaids’ dresses were different shades of grey. Bouquets were predominantly white with touches of pink to pull the theme together.
Delicate pastel pink and white table covers made a statement and were accented with blooming centerpieces in the same colors as the bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets. The addition of green leaves in the bouquets also helped to break up the dominance of pink, and with the use of mismatched ceramic and silver holders a sweet garden essence was created.
Delicate candles and crystal glassware added to the fairytale image, and the white scalloped picture frames holding the table numbers were the perfect complement.
